Like anyone else, I have my own insecurities.
The part that I hate most about my face is my… (from the worst)
- ultra sensitive skin (actually, this applies to my whole body)
- crooked teeth (wearing braces now, though)
- wide nostrils
- pointed ears (it stick out like an elf’s)
- thin lips (small mouth too)
- strong jawline
The part that I love most about my face is my…
- big eyes
Better than nothing.
Thanks to a couple of ex-bfs, relatives and even strangers, I’ve had very low self-esteem for years. =(
Except my current bf.
He loves everything about the above list on what I hated.
Appreciates them so much that he’d randomly stare and say he likes something.
I didn’t listen to him when he told me not to wear braces and well, I regretted getting them.
It made my high cheekbones that I loved, sunken down, thus, only leaving that one part of my face that I loved left, else, it would have been two.
He always said that I looked like my dad.
Just because I have his wide nose and strong jawline
But, I have my mom’s big eyes and thin lips.
Hmmm… but you know… everyone will age.
Eventually, we’ll lose what we once had.
I’m still going to have my elf ears with thin lips when I grow wrinkly old and this time, I love them.
