If there’s a part two.. yes.. you guessed it right.
Once again, another huge blunder.
Except that this time, I’m *finally* pissed off at them.
At 7pm, 2nd January, they gave an announcement.
Note 1: As if, it’s their habit to do so, thus, once again, they took their own sweet time to update everyone.
We are happy to announce that OBT will start tomorrow, 3rd January 2013, at 1300 HRS (+8 GMT)!
That is less than 19 hours from now!
However, it’s with our deepest apologies that we announce we will not be able to provide the RO2 game service to players outside of our optimised countries
– Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam
– due to our licence agreement with the game’s developer, Gravity Co., Ltd.
These aforementioned licence terms will take full effect from the start of OBT tomorrow and we deeply apologise for any inconvenience caused to players.
We are extremely grateful for the support you have shown RO2 so far and we thank you again for being a part of this journey.
Thank you all!
Note 2: They mentioned about this licensed agreement just before
CBT the first SECOND opening of OBT.
South East Asia comprises of
Note 3: They shouldn’t have stated RO2 SEA in the first place. Ironic that they even allowed non-SEA to participate in the CBT and stress test OBT sessions and then turn around and kick players out. I didn’t know that SEA stands for
South Some East Asia.
In this piece of news:
GRAVITY Reports Third Quarter of 2012 Results and Business Updates
- Ragnarok Online II to be launched in two more markets in the first half of 2013
Gravity is planning to release Ragnarok Online II in North America and the Philippines in the first half of 2013 after its launch in Singapore and Malaysia in December 2012.
Note 4: No further explanation was given to all the CBT and OBT players. This was Google-ed.
Everyone from every nook and cranny of the world took their time, energy and whatever else they’ve done to download a huge sized exe file…
Gone through the frustration of unable to install, patch and logon efficiently.
They gave their all during the stress test!
What were they supposed to be?
Uninformed test lab subjects?
They got excited and kept forgiving Asiasoft for their blunders.
What did they get in return?
Whoshhh… that’s what I call an epic fail announcement.
We’ve got peeps from Brunei and Indonesia in our guild.
That really isn’t fair.
Plus, it’s not stated that they’d get their own servers (other than Philippines).
There will be lesser competition, leading to boredom later on.
It’s not as if the new RO2 is an epic game to start with.
How much profit can you get from these 4 countries compared to adding the others in?
Note 5: Why did they get a new server if they plan to only allow a handful of an already small population? On top of playing with the feelings of most, if not all the players.
As if that wasn’t enough, they placed more salt onto the wound.
User RO2Cash top-up will not be available until 7th January 2013, 1030hrs (+8 GMT).
The RO2Cash prize will be credited to eligible player accounts during a 1-hour server maintenance from 6th January 2013, 0259hrs to 1000hrs (+8 GMT). Players can start spending their RO2Cash after the game service resumes.
Any unused RO2Cash will be wiped on 7th January 2013, 0700hrs (+8 GMT). Players are advised to spend their cash before that time.
NOTE: Cash Shop items and price during this time are not final.
Note 6: Wait.. What? Big potions in Cash Shop can only be bought during this 24-hour period? Awesome!!! I can’t wait to buy potions!! +_+ But but.. only 24-hours to shop? Yeah.. so much for the token. (the whole thing is in sarcasm mode)
This is the 2nd part of the video.. apart from the first one from my earlier post.
Part 3.. just made.
